BKK Family Trip was awesome shopping time.
i haven't had enough shopping done though. it'll be on my LR to-do list definitely, ♥

Anyway, i think the photo uploader is kind of problematic,
therefore after TWO tries. i no want try again! >:(

OR PERHAPS, I SHALL. WITH ONE.

and apparently, it succeeded. :@
Nonetheless, guess where were we???

Nonetheless, i had a good fun time. nevertheless with internal turmoils here & there.
but well well. THE BEST THING IS.

there's this PREMIER LOUNGE with free soft drinks & a coffee-making machine,
and staff to serve you from morning till night! :)
plus two apple desktops for usage. hence i was able to keep in contact with Singapore people! :P
oh oh oh, not forgetting their daily HAPPY HOUR from 5-7pm with free flow food & liquor.

uh well, i managed to get a go @ mojito & tequila sunrise only on one evening, heh. :x
gave a go @ the gym TWICE though. had funnnnnnnnnnnnn ^^

the only other regret (apart from not shopping moreeeeeeeeeeeeee!),
is that we didnt have time to go for massage! :x
and I ACTUALLY DIDN'T TRY OUT THE SAUNA in the hotel. :c
damned. :<

BUT nonetheless, it was interesting having xmas @ 3 different 'places' :)

Been two days since i'm back. Was tortured by illness-bugs yesterday.
AND THANKFULLY, I'M BETTER TODAY ! phew, :>
have to get well by tmr so that tmr will be a (Y)(Y) day! ♥

This just struck me one day while i was walking to NP.

It's just life, with choices.
Like choosing between a walk to NP or a bus to NP,
i had to choose between JC and Poly.
Destination, NP vs University.

Well, comparing...
the walk is seemingly requiring more work and takes a longer route.
whereas the bus is like a leisure ride which i can spend time multitasking and it's relative short, afterall all i have to do is to stand on the bus and stone. (exclude the readings etc)
One is like walking. enduring through more work which i have to keep my concentration right. it's a seemingly longer way cause i have to endure through the distance myself, keep my legs going.
The other is like taking the bus. i can double up and do other things, and it's can still bring me to the destination, eventually.

Distractions are everywhere, no matter if you're on the bus or walking.
The difference is, being on the bus, you'll still end up where you want to be eventually within a relatively shorter time.
But by walking, if you get distracted and stray off the route, it may be a long route back on track or even a twisted ending! Retains... U-turns...

Well, nonetheless,
it does have some incentives.
After all, if you are able to keep your speed constant and keep up consistently, the walk can be faster than the bus ride (including the waiting time).

Furthermore, giving due credits to the bus ride,
Whilst having lesser work done (or rather, the work done is mostly by the bus) there are many fixed obstacles, represented by the routine stops that a bus ride will reach.
Whereas for the walk, it is possible to slack off in the middle, so long catching up is done fast enough after realisation sets in!

However, no matter how i placing these things together.
It's just the way I look at it.
Anomalies may occur, or perhaps this analogy is the outlier itself.
For it describes only the way i look at things.

It seems like I tend to take the way where i have to control my own speed.
Yet it is still a challenge for me to keep on the right track.
I went off track, way way way off track,
for a full 6 kilometres off the side track !
And after doubling up my speeding, attempting to have constant acceleration so as to maintain stability,
It's back on track. A little further behind where i left it originally...
Yet it's just one more traffic light to the mrt station.
And now it is the time to make my way over.

For October is coming to an end.
Beginning (1st week) November would be like the final walk up the stairs and turning in through the straight pathway to the control station area as you see the electronic notice showing "1min".
The 2nd week, theoretically only Sund&Mond,
would be the rush up the escalator to get onto the train (on Tues)
and thereafter, it would be the ride to destination!

No longer afford strolling and waiting for the next train.
The circumstances are no longer the same.

All that has to be done now, is to concentrate and get through the green light...
Walk up the stairs and to the gantry,
GO ALL THE WAY up the escalator
and enter the mrt to clear the journey.

During the journey, all that can be done is to work with what i have with me.
Resources would no longer be unlimited and i only have limited time to finish it.

SO WORK HARD, ANNA.
IT'LL ALL BE WORTH IT.
SET THE GOAL IT MIND, KEEP IT IN MIND, WORK TOWARDS IT.
ACHIEVE IT! (:

i've gotten back maths/1 chem/3 econs/1 respectively,
and then i marked chem/1 @ home a couple o' hours ago. FML.

aye, the first word i uttered today in LT4 after touching my #prelims2011 paper was F.
and i just "observed" 1 minute of silence.
yes, and that's my maths paper. supposed "best" subject.
not so capable afterall, HA.HA.HA.HA.

ummm, i need some miracle to happen tomorrow to hit my target. pretty much possible in a sense.
but not really, in another. hurhurh.
i nearly gave myself a heart attack by looking through maths/2 answers which was given out today just now. :/

ummm, i must say i regretted not memorising org chem before paper 3. hahahah. i did it after ppr 3 before ppr 2. and as a matter of fact, chem/3 had the MOST org chem involved. so FML, i screwed a chance of doing sufficient to feel not-disappointed.

econs/1 turned out a surprise. aye, not an exactly good one though. but econs/2, aye, i ruined big time for that!
so :( sighs. what a day.

and then i marked chem/1. machiam courting death, hahahha! :x
but okay luh, just not there yet!!!
it's kind of better than what i usually score, during practices even.
just by one bit!~
but it's not enough. what's more it only accounts for 20% in the 'A's!

at least i can say i'm loyal to class~ :'( chem/3 was only 0.5m more than chem/1.

as much as i find DSLRs cool and stylish and fun-to-play-with,
i still prefer a handy digital camera that i could slip into any handbag or pouch that i bring outdoors!
haven't exactly EC-ed any digital cameras... But basically, I like one with high megapixels hurhur!

scanned through the net, Sony and Nikon's pages.
haven't looked through Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung, Canon, Leica, Fuji etc...
but specs wise, and appearance wise (heehee).
it'd be something like
SONY DSC-TX10/P or
SONY DSC-TX1/N or
NIKON COOLPIX S100 or
NIKON COOLPIX S8200.

basically, i did a comparison for sony's above two and T110/B & T99D/N. HURHUR. :P

#02, TREADMILL

this is so much a necessity for me! in a way~
cause i really really LIKE to run, and WANT to run, and NEED to run.
plus the fact i dont really like people staring at me while i run...
and i hate to check the weather, and i might impromptu love to run as and when! :P
so basically, i figured out perhaps 1year or so ago, that a treadmill would work best for me.
but apparently, i havent been able to save up for one yet.

just like digital cam, i haven't checked up much on treadmills either. just know i'm gonna own one.
no matter how long i'd have to wait, either to have it bought for me, or i buy it myself.
im just lazy to head to gyms with heavy schedules on the list, and also wanna save on the little admission fees :x

Instead of thinking about Dropping 1 H2 to H1, then leading to thinking about When is it most appropriate to drop, and then Causing much fluster to myself when I can't make a decision!

Economics is the one I'm most optimistic about among the three that have been cleared.
Followed by GP (with GP on second place, you can see how bad the rest are expected to be).

I must say my sciences are freaking screwed.

I remember when I gave up on Block Test for CCA,
I told myself I'll get it back during MYEs.
Look at it now, shit. like shit only.

>50% after Block Test...

I hanged on to glaring 4h2.
Expectations are high, from teachers, from parents, from family & from friends.

Despite hearing people say they would drop after MYE if their results show that they need to;
Despite telling myself once that MYE would be my gauge and last chance on considerating dropping of subjects;
Despite informing Mr. S that I'll gauge with MYEs and see if I should drop a subject;
Despite knowing I'll let Mr. S down on my promise that I would do well for it ...

I think i've made the decision, the right decision.

If I succeed in Prelims, LIFE'LL BE GOOD. Confidence will be back.
I'LL DO IT FOR A LEVELS.

This delegate has made new friends, even though not very close ones, through this 1 week or so, and am elated to find herself missing the conference!

Just made a decision,
to keep to going for SMUN2011.
But I shall take a day off for SMO and to clear some work in the afternoon.

I can't afford another saturday off!

I think i'm sort of desperate.
My expectations for MYE ain't low, at all.
With such a rushed schedule, i have very little confidence!

This result, if i get it successfully, would be better than Promos2010's result

& I have to admit. I suffered quite a heavy blow from BT2011.
Even though I clearly know that I havent placed effort into studying for this year,
apart from chasing HOMEWORK that's due, and I clearly knew i wasnt doing even 20% required for examinations in school... the results got me fumbling.

Never in my life, NEVER did I ever did so badly.
Till now, it's like a shadow cast on me.
I finally let go of it after speaking to laoge, and that was 2 months after BT.
Yet, the shadow still dawns on me!

If I manage to meet my expectations for MYE2011, I suppose the stress would be alleviated by a small degree. But nonetheless, at least it will be alleviated!
It's an error in my life, a big awful horrendous error. & it'll never leave.
the good thing is, the lesson I've learned from this lesson will stay with me throughout my life too!

The results for MYE2011 will have to serve as my motivation, my ego boost, my driving force, my ultimate pride of showing myself that I had it all along, my burning scar to keep my lesson learnt deep within my heart, my bursting indignance to show my parents that they were overduly worried over my BT results, my silent boast of ego to all those who looked down on me.

Well, i was trying to search for some pictures to use to describe today's mood and on goings.

It just brings up the happenings that I've been through this one year or so.

Today was kind of disappointing. the matches and everything.

Funny how I love sleeping recently.
I managed to clock up 13 hours on Sunday with like 9-4hours sleep-nap with like around only 2hours of awake time in between.
and it's not like i didnt have time to sleep.
ended up sleeping another full 9 hours from Sunday till this morning!

It's a whole new month, with a whole new plan.
and it's time to bring my self discipline up to standards.

well, at this age of 17 going 18.
there are tons of things going through my mind...
things that i've gone through, things that i've learnt, things that i've got to know of, things that haven't happened yet but might happen... so much so much.
yup i've to get my priorities right.

JC's a bitch. and it's freaking nearing the end.
so what i can do now, is to get past this remaining few months to torture.

JC had been eye-opening, or rather mind-opening!
there were things that had me pondering about basic mentalities i held ever since young.

comparing it now, briefly & superficially, i would conclude the cons to overwhelm the pros.
perhaps the pessimist is taking over, and the stress im facing now is just unspeakable.

i dont know how to get people to understand, and i dont wanna sound like im just rattling off with my personal views to people who dont give a damn and take me as im wasting their time!
see, everyone has got their own life y'know.
i know who cares, but i dont exactly know how many genuine ones i've got.
what i can do, would be to keep myself genuine.
as genuine as possible.
for people say you've got to treat people the way you expect them to treat you.

to openly speak of my likes and dislikes, and keep to holding reason over relations, shall be my mission.

I'VE DECIDED.

Rather than just getting f*ed up with you and your doings,
which is so UNworthy of my effort and feelings,
I should just ignore your presence and the harmful effect you brought upon us.

I'd liken you to the nukes, cause you can be real good for us,
but instead you have been USED (by yourself, i suppose) for the wrong purpose,
and you end up screwing our lives upside-down instead!
Which is not what you should be here in the first place for.
you did NOT serve your purpose, and I suppose you should reflect about it.

Recalling what zhihao said about accepting people for who they are,
I think i aint that noble yet.
I remember trying to realise that notion, but I doubt it happened.
It's too much to open my heart and accept you for who you are.

You trick people into believing you, unknowingly.
I give you your due benefit of doubt that you might be doing this unknowingly.
But that brings about the message that I do not believe in you.

Off to my self-reflection and then down to earth to STUDY.
It's time to start motivating myself to look at things on the bright/optimistic side.

I happened to realise that I have been robbing myself of the chances to look at things the jovial way recently - thinking on the negative sides of things every time, and plainly blaming others for not treating me right. It just struck me the other day that apart from blaming the people for the stupid attitude they are showing and effing people's life up, I should look at things from a different angle. Maybe then would people treat me 'right'(as i define). Cause after all, a moody Anna wouldn't be more fun than cheery Anna yea!

And obviously, when people dont really dare to approach the already jovial Anna is in place, what's more the moody Anna? RIGHT????

But then again, how do I do all these when I freaking torn by the things happening in college?
I really wna say FML. But I'll just get myself back to the pessimistic point-of-view again. What's the point?

Time to change my attitude? Yea I guess.
Time to change my bad habits - vulgarities & smacking of people - too!
It's been long since I had been able to not spout vulgarities in the face. Heh. I wonder what happened to my self-discipline for non-vulgarities! :X

hi 'clique' - i thought we were one.

idk what to type now.
i really want to ask you girls just what you think a clique is.
perhaps, our definitions are different.

but then again, your actions show otherwise -
it shows that our definitions are the same.

excluding P & KN who are not in the same school,
the 5 of us are definitely surviving in the same college.

Yet, I don't feel included.
Even in the same college, same surroundings.

How long have it been?
3years? &yet I still feel so.
Perhaps, I've never belonged here at all.

You might ask why, you might feel maligned.
But this is just what I'm feeling now, & definitely almost everytime in the past too.
It just seems like I couldn't fit in.
& It's almost always that I feel like an outsider, an odd-one-out, whenever we're out together.
the odd one in the seven of us.

5 of us are in the same college.
J & M, you guys wait for C & KL when they have training,
you wait for 1hour, 2 hours, 3 hours...
C & KL, you guys wait for J & M when they end class later,
you wait for 0.5hour, 1hour, 2hours...
then you go back together.

where's me?
Do i not stay in the same district?
Do i not take the same direction of MRT with you?

You forget about me? Woh. That's not news, luckily (or not).

Sometimes I really wonder,
